Nellie a year on

It's now been over a year since Accucraft build Edrig Class "Little Nellie" arrived on the S&NLR, since then the loco is still going strong with only a few minor repairs and and regular maintenance needed during the year. The loco has visited both Derby and Whitwell & Reepham Station also.

Thomas arrives from Sodor!!!!

On Friday 4Th June the famous blue tank engine that is Thomas arrived on the S&NLR! The large scale Thomas range is new for Bachmann in 2010 and other characters so far include Percy, James, Annie & Clarable as well as the troublesome trucks. The locos including Thomas feature moving eyes.
Thomas is an excellent runner and we plan to eventually paint him into a more realistic looking loco.
